NOTE: Conte Filiberto Avogardo di Collobiano was the first son of Conte Luigi Ottavio and his wife Conetessa Caresana Marianna di Cariso. As well as being a noted landowner; he was to lead a distinguished career in public service. He was appointed Secondo Scudiero and Gentiluomo di Bocca to the king in 1821, Primo Ufficiale della Segreteria di Gabinetto to the king in 1825, and Intendente generale to the royal household in 1830, as well as serving briefly as a Senator to the Republic in 1848.
