A rare iron-red and green enamelled nine dragon dish. Jiajing mark and period

with rounded sides rising to a slightly flaring rim, the interior painted with a striding five claw dragon, amongst flame scrolls over breaking waves, the exterior with eight similar smaller dragons. 16.3cm., 6 3/8 in. Est. 20,000—30,000 GBP
