Set at the front with eight pear-shaped emerald drops bordered by a line of brilliant-cut diamonds, alternating with yellow gold bars suspending pear-shaped emeralds, to marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamond stylised floral elements, the back row set with pear-shaped and triangular emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in yellow gold, length approximately 410mm, French assay and maker's marks. The meditative figure of Guanyin seated below an arch of scroll work, flanked on either side by small protruding shelves, one holding a bowl and the other holding a pear-shaped vase, before her stand two acolytes on open lotus flower heads, covered overall with a crackled sea-green glaze, except for the gilt heads and chest of Guanyin. 34.6cm (13½in) high. Sold for £5,040

Claw-set with an octagonal step-cut emerald bordered by a line of marquise- and pear-shaped diamonds, the shoulders set with brilliant-cut stones, mounted in yellow gold, size 52. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 0902242 stating that the emerald, estimated to weigh approximately 11.80 carats, is of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement.
