Sept hommes, cinq au bord d'un étang peuplé de canards, deux autres derrière les collines, contemplent avec stupéfaction, yeux levés vers le ciel, deux canards en vol. Un cartouche de cinq lignes obliques en « nasta‘liq » figure dans le champ, en haut de la miniature. Le verso se compose de deux colonnes à bandes vertes ornées de motifs floraux or, encadrant le texte horizontal ou oblique. La page beige est ornée à l'or sur les deux faces de tiges fleuries et de cinq médaillons polylobés, roses ou verts, décorés de fins motifs végétaux or. Usures. Miniature : 16,5 x 9 cm. Portrait du souverain de trois-quarts, accroupi sous un arbuste, vêtu de mauve, tenant une coupe d'une main, une fleur de l'autre. Un flacon et une coupe de fruits sont posés à ses pieds, sur un tapis vert orné de rinceaux or. Nuages et végétation se profilent en délicates lignes d'or sur un fond beige. Le nom du souverain s'inscrit en caractères nasta‘liq en haut de la miniature.

Dans un palais où s'activent servantes et musiciennes, la princesse Shirin contemple le portrait de Khosrow, sous le regard de deux hommes qui se tiennent à l'extérieur près d'un arbre en fleur. Quatre personnages veillent au sommet du palais.
Trois et quatre lignes de texte en « nasta‘liq », réparties sur quatre colonnes, figurent en haut et en bas de la miniature, dont les marges sont ornées d'animaux et d'arbres en fleur. Petite usure (cartouche bleu) et coupure (colonne).

Alors que les tribus se livrent bataille à dos de chameau, le Sheikh Nawfal à cheval tranche la tête de l'ennemi et met un terme au combat dont les hérauts célèbrent la victoire, sous le regard de Madjnoun.
Trois colonnes de deux lignes et deux cartouches enluminés encadrent la scène. La page, beige rosé, est ornée d'enluminures florales vertes à filets or et bordée de motifs floraux or à fond vert.

Grand panneau composé de deux lés en velours de soie écarlate, broché de fils d'or. Le décor se compose d'un treillis de mandorles disposées sur cinq rangs en quinconce, formé de doubles tiges réunies au point de jonction par une couronne et renfermant tulipes, œillets et palmettes. Note : Un panneau au décor identique, provenant de la collection du Baron Edmond de Rothschild, a été exposé à Londres chez Colnaghi et au Musée Rath à Genève.
