The cover of rectangular section with cusped corners and deeply undercut panels of figures in a verdant landscape setting that rests upon a low, footed base finished with a raised collar at the top, the underside bearing a four-character mark in seal script. 8 1/2in (21cm) long. A fine 'spinach' jade marriage bowl. Qianlong
Its low, curving well centered with a raised peony flower head, the flower repeating to the top of the ruyi lappet handles suspending loose rings, the exterior walls encircled with a band of 'Eight Buddhist Treasures' amid curled ribbons and leaf scrolls and the base raised on four ruyi lappet feet; the dark and richly colored matrix marked with pin-point black inclusions, pale green patches and natural surface fissures. 13 5/8in (34.5cm) long. Estimate: $40,000 - 60,000
