Three imperial yellow-glazed dishes. Hongzhi six-character marks in underglaze blue within double circles and of the period (1488-1505)
Each with shallow rounded sides rising from a tapering ring foot, covered inside and out with a glaze of rich egg yolk-yellow tone. 8 3/8 to 8½ in. (21.3 to 21.6 cm.) diam. (3) - Est. $20,000 - $30,000
Provenance: Acquired by the grandfather of the present owners, Whampoa, Guangdong, circa 1890-1920s, thence by descent within the family.
