Langyao Apple Form Water Pot. 清代 Qing Dynasty, 乾隆 Qianlong Period (1736-1795)

A fine small apple form water pot, the compressed globular body applied with a copper red Langyao glaze that has fired to a pale tone except at the bottom where the glaze has turned a rich hue of congealed blood. The base has fired a pale copper green colored crackled tone except in the center where it's turned red. Height: 2 1/2" (6.4cm). Condition:  Excellent, a minor chip at the mouth rim. Price on appliaction
