Langyao Compressed Bottle Vase 清代 Qing Dynasty, 乾隆 Qianlong Period (1736-1795)

A fine small bottle vase, the compressed globular body supported on a high splayed foot and rising to a tall cylindrical neck applied with a copper red Langyao glaze that has fired to a pale tone except at the bottom where the glaze has turned a rich hue of congealed blood. The base is covered in a pale cream colored crackled glaze. Height: 6" (15.2cm). Condition:  Excellent, several minor chips on the foot rim. Price on application
