Each dish with gently rounded sides, incised on the interior with a single writhing dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, amidst flame scrolls, the exteriors incised with a pair of similar striding dragons, the interiors and sides covered with a rich egg-yolk yellow, the base with underglaze blue mark beneath a clear glaze. 18.6cm (7¼in) diam. Each dish incised on the interior with a single full-faced dragon in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl' amidst flame-scrolls, the exterior similarly decorated with two striding dragons carved on the curved sides, all covered with a rich egg-yolk yellow glaze, the mark inscribed with an aubergine enamel 4 1/4 in.
