Its elongated trumpet neck surrounded by a landscape peopled by a scholar and his attendant while another similar scene surrounds the ovoid body and spreading base supported on the set-in foot ring. 15 3/4in (40cm) high - Sold for $27,450

Painted in richly hued cobalt line and wash with a band of Persian style lilies around the waisted neck, a scholar and his servant in a garden surrounding the upper lobe and an audience scene in a similar setting to the lower lobe raised on a short foot. 12 1/8in (31cm) high - Sold for $23,180

Of inverted bell form, the floor of its deep well centered with a poet tasting wine and its flared rim banded with a diaper pattern and flower-filled reserves, the reverse painted with scholars engaged in the 'Four Enjoyments' and the base bearing the six-character mark enclosed within a double ring. 8in (20cm) diameter - Sold for $14,640
