Ding Shallow Lotus Dish. Northern 宋代 Song Dynasty (1127-1279) photos Vermeer & Griggs

A fine Song Dingyao shallow dish raised on a short ring foot decorated with incised design of lotus flowers covered entirely in a creamy ivory colored glaze with typical tear drops in the glaze. The dish likely made at the Quyang kilns in Hebei province. Diameter:  6 3/4" (17.2cm). Condition: Excellent, minor filled rim nick. - Price on application
