For over 28 years, artist Jeff Nishinaka has enchanted friends and clients with his filigree paper work.

His clients include Galerie Lafayettes, Paris, as well as Mattel, Bloomingdales and Paramount Pictures.

Action film superstar Chackie Chan, currently in cinemas with Smith Junior in Karate Kid, is a close friend and admirer of Jeff’s.
Jackie’s affection demonstrates that good taste and commercial flair can well and truly go hand in hand – he owns the largest collection of paper art by this exceptional creative talent.

Jeff’s short statement on his relationship to paper: "Paper to me is a living thing, breathing thing that has a life of it's own."

His works are almost unlimited when it comes to motif – from people, to animals and plants, to landscapes and street scenes, there is nothing that he can’t depict in paper.

However, he always tries to keep the manipulations as minimal as possible so as to keep the paper’s character intact. This also shows in his very concise choice of colours.
