A very rare large foliate bowl rendered in the form of a mallow flower supported on a high ring foot. The rounded sides rising to a wide flaring rim, the body grooved to form six sections indented on the rim creating a foliate edge and covered in a camellia leaf green finely crackled glaze. It is very unusual to find such a large bowl with this particular glaze. Height:  3 7/8" (9.8cm)  Diameter:  10 1/2" (28.7cm). Condition:  Excellent. Price on request.

Provenance:  Vermeer & Griggs Collection No. 259
