Centring on a rectangular modified brilliant-cut fancy vivid pink diamond weighing 6.43 carats, flanked on each side by a cluster of pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, embellished to the shoulders with brilliant-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.60 carats, mounted in platinum and 18 karat white gold, signed and numbered JH000080 51. Accompanied by GIA report numbered 1102968505, dated 10 August 2009, stating that the 6.43 carat diamond is natural, Fancy Vivid Pink colour, VS2 clarity; also accompanied by diamond type classification report stating that this diamond has been determined to be a Type IIa pink diamond. Type IIa pink diamonds are very rare in nature, often have relatively few inclusions and are noted for their mostly homogenous colour in the rough.
