Each with a square back and seat on baluster turned front legs and sabre legs to the back, one chair stamped J.LOUIS and with CP marks for Château of Compiègne, also numbered in ink C 4968 and with old paper labels, one inscribed Meubles N.1, the other chair also with CP marks and numbered C 4968 and 28258, each with green and yellow silk cover,(2) - Sold for AUD 3,600 inclusive of Buyer's Premium
