The pear-shaped ten-faceted vase with a tall neck, the facets divided by raised ribs, supported on a short slightly-spreading foot, the semi-transparent glass of deep purple-blue tone; 23cm (9in) high - Estimate: £5,000 - 8,000, HK$ 61,000 - 98,000, USD 7,900 - 13,000

Provenance: an English private collection, purchased by the father of the present owner between 1918-1939.
