Set with an octagonal-shaped emerald weighing 25.83 carats, to the shield-shaped diamond shoulders, mounted in platinum, size 6. Estimate CHF650,000 - CHF850,000 - Price Realized CHF1,035,000

Accompanied by report no. 57222 dated 3 September 2010 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity modification (oil)

Report no. 2125331226 dated 12 July 2010 from the GIA Gemological Institute of America stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement

Report no. CS 41874 dated 16 March 2010 from the AGL American Gemological Laboratories stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no clarity enhancement, and a letter stating that the emerald has received a very high overall colour grade of 2.5, on a scale going from 1 to 10, 1 being the top category

Report no. 10-G-3515 dated 5 August 2010 from the GemTechLab stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, from the Muzo mine, with no indication of clarity enhancement

Report no. 57534 dated 30 September 2010 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement, and an Appendix stating "Natural emeralds from Colombia of this size, colour and purity represent a great rarity and the described gemstone is thus a very exceptional treasure"
