XANTEN.- Curator Romina Schiavone looks at the skulls of a man and a woman who were murdered in the middle of the 3rd century AD during a press preview of an exhibition, titled Gefaehrliches Pflaster - Kriminalitaet im Roemischen Reich (lit. Dangerous Place - Crime in the Roman Empire) at the Roemer Museum in Xanten, Germany, 04 July 2011. The skulls were found during excavations at the Roman city Nida, in todays Frankfurt/Main, Germany in 1993. The exhibition opens to the public from 08 July 2011 to 12 Februrary 2012.
