the rectangular parcel-gilt top above a pair of cupboard doors decorated with pagodas and Oriental figures, opening to reveal an architectural interior with balustrade balcony, niches and arrangement of drawers fronted with panels depicting landscapes with animals and figures dressed in typical costumes, the sides decorated with flowers, on a later base with butterflies and foliage, on scrolling legs, 112cm wide, 47cm deep, 142cm high (44" wide, 18.5" deep, 55.5" high). Sold for £18,000
