LONDON.- Christie’s announce the rediscovery of a highly important, monumental-scale self-portrait by Andy Warhol (1928-1987). Executed in 1967 and an addition to an historically important series of 10 self- portraits, the picture has been in a private collection since 1974 when it was acquired from Leo Castelli, Warhol’s primary dealer. NEW YORK (REUTERS).- An Andy Warhol portrait of Mao Zedong that actor Dennis Hopper shot two bullets through sold for $302,500 at Christie's on Tuesday, more than 10 times its high estimate. PARIS.- A retired French electrician and his wife have come forward with 271 undocumented, never-before-seen works by Pablo Picasso estimated to be worth at least euro 60 million ($79.35 million), an administrator of the artists estate said Monday.
