A Green-Enameled 'Dragon' Jar, Qianlong Seal Mark and Period of well-potted ovoid form, the shouldered sides finely painted in underglaze blue and enameled in bright translucent green with two scaly dragons pacing through clouds and flames in pursuit of 'flaming pearls', a band of lappets around the base, the shoulder decorated with the eight Buddhist Emblems enclosed by a ruyi and a spiral band. 7 3/4 in., 19.7 cm.
