A fine jadeite 'basket weave' snuff bottle, late Qing dynasty Of compressed and flattened globular form, the fine stone of brilliant dark green colour mottled with patches of apple-green and white, skilfully worked in varying levels of relief to simulate a vessel wrapped for protection in a basket weave casing, stopper. 5cm (2in) high.
