A fine white jade covered vase. 18th Century Of flattened hu form with an angular profile, carved in high relief with a wide taotie mask band extending between two bands of upright flower petals that also appear on the tall cover while opposing chilong crawl around the curving shoulder; the off-white matrix displaying a subdued polish, abundant icy white veins and some natural fissure lines. 8 1/2in (24.5cm) high.
