A pair of doucai dishes. Chenghua marks, Kangxi period the rounded sides of each rising to slightly flared rims, painted to the interior with a stylized tree with large leaves and pomegranate fruit, enclosed by a band three detached fruiting leafy branches. 20.9cm., 8 1/4 in. A small celadon glazed porcelain vase. Chenghua Mark Of compressed globular form, its exterior walls carved in shallow relief with flower petal bands bordering peony sprays visible beneath the blue-green glaze also applied across the base bearing an underglaze blue four-character mark and the foot pad finished with iron wash. 5 7/8in (15cm) diameter - Estimate: $500 - 700 Bonhams.
