A  cushion-shaped ruby and diamond ring The central cushion-shaped ruby, weighing 8.68 carats, within a brilliant-cut diamond scallop surround, the shank pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18k white gold, ring size 5¾. Sold for HK$1,440,000 Accompanied by a certificate from the Gemresearch Swisslab, stating that the 8.68 carats ruby is of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, natural vivid red colour (GRS type "pigeon's blood"), with no indication of thermal treatment.
