A Pair of Flambe-Glazed Hexalobed Vases, Daoguang Seal Marks and Period each stoutly potted, the lobed globular body resting on a slightly flared foot and rising to a short waisted neck with an everted foliate-shaped rim, covered on the exterior with a rich red raspberry glaze carefully streaked with a milky turquoise gathering in the divided furrow of each lobe, the base each applied with a caramel-coloured glaze and incised with the six-character seal-mark. height 7 3/4 in., 19.7cm.
