A Very Rare Geyao Petal-Lobed Hexagonal Dish, Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) The dark, thinly potted body flaring widely from the tapering ring foot before rising to the slightly everted, petal-lobed rim, covered allover with an opaque glaze of pale bluish-grey tone suffused with black ('iron wire') crackle joined by pale gold ('golden thread') crackle which also covers the inside of the foot, the unglazed bottom of the foot exposing the dark brown ware. 6¾ in.
