Sotheby's Prints sale 30 Apr 10 10:00 AM in New York made a total of $7,776,888 (£5,125,478). Mary Bartow, Director of Prints, commented, “We are very happy with the results of our two-day sale. While we did not see the volume of bids on each lot that we have seen in the past, we saw a great pool of new buyers participate in this sale and had very active underbidding from both Russian and Southeast Asian clients.
