This bejeweled "friendly ogre" is characteristic of Nardi's playful designs. His hat, beard, and earrings are set with rubies and the hat is further ornamented with dangling emeralds. His nostrils are sapphires. The reverse is a gold carving of a male and female nude seen from the back. The large pendent (2.5 inches long) hangs from a black silk cord. height: 11 in. Price $8,500
