A fine pair of aubergine hexagonally shaped baluster vases, 清代 Qing Dynasty, 康熙 Kangxi Period (1662-1722). photo Vermeer & Griggs the sides rising gracefully to a foliate mouth rim. The bodies covered in a deep qiepi zi, aubergine-eggplant skin purple, glaze derived from manganese varying in tone where the glaze runs down the body.
