A famille verte decorated gu-form beaker vase. Transitional Painted in black outline and brilliantly hued enamels with birds, garden rocks and flowers in bloom around the flared neck and a stiff leaf band rising from the spreading foot while a peony branch and dense leaf scroll pattern against a yellow ground fills the central convex band, the flat base unglazed. 17 3/4in (45cm) high.
