HONG KONG.- A Famille rose peach box and cover, Qing dynasty, Yongzheng mark and period is seen during a Sothebys press preview in Hong Kong, China 25 February 2011. The peach box is expected to fetch in excess of 40 to 60 million Hong Kong dollars or 5.1 to 7.7 million US dollars as a part of total 80 lots estimated at over 710 million Hong Kong dollars or 91 million US dollars of the Meiyintang Collection of fine porcelain sale at Sothebys in Hong Kong, China on 07 April 2011. A fine white jade covered vase. 18th Century Of flattened hu form with an angular profile, carved in high relief with a wide taotie mask band extending between two bands of upright flower petals that also appear on the tall cover while opposing chilong crawl around the curving shoulder; the off-white matrix displaying a subdued polish, abundant icy white veins and some natural fissure lines. 8 1/2in (24.5cm) high.
