Rare Figural Sancai Glazed Rhyton, China, Tang Dynasty (618-907) Glazed Earthenware. Height: 4 7/8 inches - Sold The drinking cup of trumpet-form is crisply molded and finely hand-finished. The handle, formed of a leafy stem, issues a stippled Buddha’s hand citron upon which is straddled a high-capped Central Asian figure with a large wine jar in his arms.
