A pair of cloisonné enameled metal vases of square section. 17th/18th Century Of archaistic gu form, inlaid with a bold lotus flower and leaf scroll pattern in rich colors, pink and white against a turquoise ground, the exposed metal edges showing remains of gilt and a leaf-scroll pattern chased into the metal band securing the neck to the mid-section. 12 1/2in (31.5cm) high. Qianlong Each shaped as a ripe pomegranate with a foliate edge to the spreading neck that rises from a globular body covered in a turquoise ground and inlaid with richly hued enamels forming a classic lotus flower and leafy scroll design, some of the exposed metal surfaces finished in gilt.  4in (10cm) high.
