A Small Marbleized Pottery Dish, Tang dynasty
of shallow form with gently curved sides, the marbleized dark brown and ivory colored body covered overall with a translucent straw glaze pooling to a yellow color in some areas, with three spur marks each on the interior and base. diameter 4 7/8 in., 12.4 cm. Estimate 15,000—20,000 USD
The dating of this lot is consistent with the results of a thermoluminescence test, Oxford Authentication Ltd., no. 366r95.
