A Small 'Jun' Purle And Lavender-Glazed Cup, Ming dynasty
the delicately curved sides supported on a petite foot, culminating in a slightly everted lip, applied to the exterior with a thick purple glaze running over the interior of the mouth, the remainder of the well filled with a lavender-blue glaze revealing tiny 'worm-holes', minor traces of lavender-blue around the foot stained brown, the underside applied with a lavender-blue glaze, Japanese wood box (2). diameter 3 1/4 in., 8.3 cm.
