A Rare 'Tielimu' And Hardwood Square Games Table, Qing Dynasty, 18th Century
inspired by a bamboo prototype, with a square demountable top with rounded edges concealing a double-sided removable weiqi board and two square game piece cups, above three rectangular pierced panels fronting the apron on each side, each of the center panels disguising a drawer, all supported by thick double-molded legs simulating bamboo rods with rounded spandrels at each corner, with small mahogany box and assorted games. 31 1/8 x 33 3/4 x 33 3/4 in., 79 x 85.6 x 85.6 cm.
