A cloisonné enamel 'arrow' vase, 16th century
The compressed globular body and tall cylindrical neck enamelled with blue, red, yellow and white lotus blooms encircled by leafy scrolls against a turquoise ground with upright and pendent lotus lappets at the shoulder, the neck set with tubular handles on either side, the upper section of neck and handles with stylised chrysanthemum scroll on a white ground. 14.1cm (5½in) high. Sold for £5,760
