Hasted Hunt Kraeutler montre actuellement ERWIN OLAF: HOTEL & DAWN / DUSK, des nouvelles photographies et vidéos du photographe et réalisateur hollandais. Il s’agit là de sa troisième exposition dans la galerie après RAIN and HOPE en 2005 et GRIEF en 2007.

“Since working on RAIN, HOPE, and GRIEF, I’m not exactly sure what I want to talk about. I’m getting older. I have more doubt. I don’t know where I will end up. I’m exploring. While I was shooting the DUSK series I still didn’t know the answers. Now that I’m finishing DAWN I am finally realizing what I am saying. Not that I can say in words exactly what this is, but I know it. The best is when it remains a question mark.” explique Erwin Olaf au magazine Eyemazing.

ERWIN OLAF a reçu le titre "Photographer of the Year 2009" du Px3 Prix de la Photographie Paris pour son oeuvre "Rain, Grief and Hope".

Erwin vit et travaille à Amsterdam aux Pays-Bas. L’exposition est soutenue par le consulat général hollandais et la Mondriaan Foundation. Hasted Hunt représente Erwin Olaf exclusivement aux USA.
