Six character mark of Kangxi and of the period, 1662-1722. of mallet form with tall cylindrical neck, beehive form body and flat foot rim, painted with two opened winged archaic style phoenix birds each with their heads turned holding a ring in their beaks. 7 3/8 inches, 18.7 cm high. A pair of Chinese yellow and green 'dragon' bowls. Kangxi six character mark and of the period (1662-1722) Incised on the exterior with a pair of five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, between fire-scrolls and cloud-whorls, above a band of rolling waves encircling the base, all picked out in green enamels reserved on a dark yellow ground, the interiors glazed white - 14.4 cm. diam. Kangxi six character mark and of the period (1662-1722) Painted to the large central medallion with a lady warming her hands by a censer on a table, a lady servant holding a fan standing behind her, a pair of rabbits playing nearby, a crane flying above, surrounded by radiating panels of ladies alternating with peony issuing from rockwork, fritted rim, rim crack. 34 cm. diam.
