The shaped tureen and cover with undulating rims, flanked on either side by lotus bud handles, the cover surmounted by fruit finial with leafy stem, all vibrantly and characteristically painted around the exterior in enamels of the famille rose palette with wide serrated leaves, hibiscus and peony flowers, with details heightened with gilt. 37.8cm (15in) wide.
