Grand Christ, Ivoire sculpté. Espagne, XVIIe siècle. Photo Hôtel des Ventes Victor Hugo Ce très beau Christ aux yeux clos est très finement sculpté. Sa couronne d'épines faite de branches de résineux torsadées est posée sur une chevelure aux larges mèches ondulées, lui tombant sur l'épaule droite. Son anatomie ponctuée de veines est magnifique ; tous ses doigts en particulier sont détachés.
