Rare David Webb Jade and Diamond Paperweight, USA, 1960s
The jade boulder realistically carved as a wild boar's head, in imitation of a hunting trophy, set with diamond eyes on a yellow gold twisted rope base, signed Webb, ca. 1968. A rare example of a Webb decorative object from the 1960s, when similar items were given as diplomatic gifts by the Kennedy White House to visiting dignitaries. Height: 2 1/2. Length: 2 in.
