of similar form to the preceding lot, one with children playing with a bell toy whilst a lady dances on a patterned carpet, watched by a couple seated on a low bench, and a mother preparing to nurse her child in an elegantly furnished pavilion to one side; the other vase with three figures and children on a terrace with plants in pots and elaborate rockwork, the figures observed by another lady seated at the window of a curtained pavilion, the necks of both vases with scenes of children playing on a hobby horse (2); height 28 in., 71.1 cmheight 28 in., 71.1 cm. of similar form to the preceding lots, each finely painted with figures on a garden terrace with trees and open pavilions, one vase with figures gathered around a table furnished with a vase of flowers, a ruyi scepter and other objects, the children around them playing with a lion puppet or observing fish in a bowl, all watched by a lady in an open pavilion; the other vase with children playing instruments and a lady seated on a garden stool observing a courting couple and boys peering into a fish bowl whilst a lady seated in the open pavilion plays the qin, both vases with the same scene of children chasing one another for a toy on the necks (2); heights 27 3/8 in., 69.7 cm and 26 7/8 in.; 68.4 cm. the tall cylindrical body beneath gently sloping shoulders, narrow neck and flared rim, finely painted around the sides with a group of figures in a fenced courtyard before an open pavilion elegantly furnished with vases on a table and low stools, the figures seated in two groups, one group of three men and women playing go at a table and the other of two ladies observing the children playing around them with a spotted deer, all beneath a floral cell-diaper border at the shoulder, the neck with a group of children attempting to grab a toy from their playmate; height 26 1/2 in., 67.3 cm. Estimate 15,000—25,000 USD. Lot Sold  122,500 USD
