Diamonds Shine in $4.2+ Million Heritage Jewelry Auction
The top jewelry lot was a stunning Diamond, Platinum Ring, featuring one emerald-cut diamond weighing 18.40 carats, enhanced by triangle-shaped diamonds weighing a total of approximately 5.00 carats. It rose, amidst spirited bidding, to finish the day at $388,375, more than doubling its pre-auction estimate at $175,000.

Ewer with depressed globular body, straight slender neck, and star-shaped mouth. Long spout with foliage attachments. The body is moulded in six lobes. Painted in pale blue with a garden scene. Gold silk velvet with metallic stencil and silk lining. Label inside. Measurements: Arm pit to arm pit - 34" flat ; Length Shoulder to hem front - 27.75"; Sleeve to sleeve across top of shoulders - 46.5"; Back length from neck - 26". Condition Excellent. Small area of deterioration at the neck lining that has been buffered with a similar fabric.. Sold.
